I love creating opportunities for people to have new experiences and enjoy themselves.

I'm a busy married mum of two girls who likes to make the most out of life. I'm a go-getter and usually always have something on the go. I'm also a proud soccer mum and love watching my eldest play — supporting her to be a future Matilda! When I'm not on the sideline I love staying active with walking, yoga and Pilates, and I'm a big reader, always working through something on my Kindle or listening to an audiobook. I'm a huge music fan too and use music as therapy at times. Most of all I love an adventure — travelling, cruising, discovering new places and creating core memories with my family. We're based in Thirlmere with our Labrador and our cat, and I love the balance of community and nature out this way.

I value honesty, loyalty and having genuine relationships with the people around me. I believe in making the most of life, creating memories, and surrounding myself with people who have a positive influence. I try to approach life with a positive mindset, be practical when challenges come up, and focus on what I can do rather than what I can't change. That's exactly what I bring to work — treating people with respect, making them feel valued, and being someone they know they can count on.

I hold a Certificate IV in Community Services and Aged Care and a Certificate III in Event Management, along with First Aid and CPR certification and a NSW driver's licence.

I worked in aged care for over 10 years. During that time I visited people in their own homes, took care of rostering for in-home services, and worked in an independent living apartment complex where I assisted with catering and organised games and activities. That mix — hands-on support, coordinating services, and running activities people actually looked forward to — is what led me to where I am now as Events Coordinator. I plan our events, and I'm also there on the day, out with the group.

I'm a good active listener and problem solver, and I'm flexible and adaptable when things change — which, in events, they always do. I like finding practical solutions and helping people work towards their goals. I also really enjoy working as part of a team; I've found that supportive colleagues make a huge difference, particularly in a high-stress environment.

I enjoy helping people get out into the community, explore different areas and experience things they might not otherwise be able to access due to transport or other limitations. I love creating opportunities for people to have new experiences and enjoy themselves — and being on the events myself means I get to see that happen firsthand.

I want the people I support to feel included and to have the opportunity to experience new places and activities. I enjoy helping people build confidence, try new things and make memories. Every event is a chance for someone to do something they'll talk about for weeks afterwards.

I'm happy with what I'm currently doing. I'd like to continue building my experience, developing my skills and providing the best support I can.
