Take the Stress Out of Your NDIS Finances
Wollondilly Total Care Plan Management
Managing your NDIS funding can feel like a second job. Invoices to approve, providers to pay, budgets to track, and the constant worry of whether you are spending your funding correctly. At Wollondilly Total Care, we take all of that off your plate — so you can focus on what actually matters. Living your life.
What is Plan Management?
Plan Management is a funded NDIS support that gives you a dedicated financial manager to handle the administrative side of your NDIS plan. Think of your Plan Manager as your personal NDIS accountant — processing your invoices, tracking your budgets, and keeping everything in order so you never have to stress about the paperwork.
Choosing Plan Management gives you the best of both worlds. You get the freedom and flexibility of managing your own supports, without the administrative burden of doing it all yourself.

Why Choose
Plan Management?
There are three ways to manage your NDIS funding — self managed, agency managed, and plan managed. Here is how they compare:
Self Managed
You receive your funding directly and manage all payments yourself. Maximum flexibility, but significant administrative responsibility. You handle every invoice, every payment, and all record keeping personally.
Agency Managed (NDIA Managed
The NDIA manages your funding and pays your providers directly. Least administrative burden, but significantly less flexibility — you can only use registered NDIS providers.
Plan Managed
A registered Plan Manager handles all financial administration on your behalf. You get the flexibility to use both registered and unregistered providers, with none of the administrative burden. Your funding is professionally managed and you have full visibility of your spending.
For most participants, Plan Management is the clear winner. You get flexibility without the paperwork — and it costs you nothing extra because Plan Management is separately funded in your NDIS plan.
This is one of the most important things to understand about Plan Management — it does not come out of your existing support budgets. When you choose Plan Management, the NDIA adds a separate line item to your plan specifically to cover your Plan Manager's fees.
This means choosing Plan Management costs you nothing. There is no reason not to have it.
If your current plan does not include Plan Management funding, we can help you request it at your next plan review or through a plan variation.

What Can a Plan Manager Pay For?
One of the key advantages of Plan Management is that you can use both registered and unregistered providers. This gives you significantly more choice than agency managed funding, particularly for allied health and specialised supports where the best provider for you may not be NDIS registered.
Your Plan Manager can process invoices from any provider you choose to work with, as long as the supports are included in your plan and priced within the NDIS Price Guide. This includes:

Step 1 — Getting Set Up
Once you are onboarded as a WTC Plan Management client, your details are set up in the PlanAbility system. Your providers are notified of where to send their invoices and your budgets are loaded and ready to track.
Step 2 — Provider Invoicing
Your providers send their invoices directly to PlanAbility. You do not need to chase invoices or forward paperwork — your providers deal directly with your Plan Manager.
Step 3 — Invoice Checking
Every invoice is checked against your plan and the NDIS Price Guide before it is approved. This protects you from overcharging and ensures your funding is spent correctly.
Step 4 — Payment Processing
Approved invoices are paid promptly. Your providers are paid on time, which keeps your support relationships running smoothly and ensures your services are never interrupted.
Step 5 — Budget Tracking and Reporting
You have access to real time budget information through the PlanAbility portal. You can see exactly what has been spent, what is remaining, and where your funding is going at any time.
