"I love doing lawns and helping locals who need it; some of them I call friends now—they are all great, lovely people."
From Lawn Care to Lifelong Connections
I chose to become a support worker because I genuinely enjoy helping locals in my community. Whether I am taking care of property maintenance or providing direct support, I pride myself on being caring, professional, and a good listener who isn't afraid to share a laugh. I am learning as I go, but I absolutely love what I do. For me, there is nothing better than knowing a participant loves their fresh-cut lawn or finishing a shift knowing my client had a great morning and is feeling happy.
Community, Hobbies, and ‘Aha’ Moments
I am most rewarding when I can help people get out and do the things they love. I have a real passion for supporting participants to engage in community activities, like trips to the Narellan Men's Shed. I love seeing clients get stuck into woodwork, talk about the footy, and catch up with their mates. My support style is all about facilitating those moments—whether it's discussing the NRL or just ensuring someone has a fulfilling day out of the house.
Wollondilly Life
I’m a massive NRL fan and love fishing or playing footy with my boy. As a true morning person, you’ll usually find me starting the day with a large juice or a cappuccino, or enjoying a pub lunch at the Tahmoor Inn. I’m a big fan of watching Tim the Mower Man, and if you turn my car on, you’re guaranteed to hear some Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, or country music blasting. When I’m not working, I’m hanging out with my best mate—my Jack Russell.
I look forward to meeting you and getting the job done with a smile!
