About me
I'm a collector of model cars, motorbikes, and vintage records, with a particular fondness for books, especially 'The Godfather' series. I've enjoyed traveling overseas and have a deep appreciation for music from the 60s and 70s. I'm known for my empathy towards those facing hardship, and I consider myself easygoing and humorous, always ready with a joke or two. Honesty is important to me, and I enjoy relaxing with a beer now and then.
Experience and Skills
For 30 years, I've been self-employed, following a career in management within the transport industry. Prior to that, I gained experience as a payroll master at SHELL for three years and as a booking clerk with the railway for two years. I also hold a current CPR certification.
Why I am a Support Worker
I find this part-time support work deeply rewarding. It allows me to assist less fortunate individuals in our community, fulfilling my desire to serve others. I genuinely enjoy the time I spend with participants, helping them lead more active and social lives, something many of us take for granted.
